Panama is characterized by its biodiversity, its system of protected areas, social stability, high education levels and efficient infrastructure and services. The combination of incredible natural beauty and the hospitality of the inhabitants make our country one of the destinations most sought-after by people acquiring properties from abroad.
Panama is considered one of the three best places in which to live in Latin America according to a recent study performed by the Corporate Resources group, a study that examined 192 cities worldwide. There are many reasons why Panama is such a desirable place to live:
Of course, one of the key benefits to living in Panama is the climate. Located far below the hurricane belt, Panama enjoys lovely weather year round. There are only two seasons in Panama – the dry season (December to May) and the rainy season (June to November) – but during both seasons you can enjoy sunny days. There are many areas with very pleasant moderate climates, and the more humid areas close to the beaches enjoy gentle breezes throughout the year.
Panama’s topography is also renowned, with beaches, spectacular landscapes and islands off its coasts on both oceans.
Those looking for sports and entertainment have many options to choose from, including horseracing, sailing, windsurfing, motor boating, boxing, cycling, snorkelling, fishing, golfing and surfing. Panama also boasts world-class shopping and nightlife options that include concerts, nightclubs, casinos, live music, restaurants, theatres, and many other attractions.
